Whether it’s with the family or a group of friends choosing an appealing restaurant, such as the Sail Marmaris to sit down and order Buryan kebab (pit-steamed kebab) is we’ll recommended. You will be brought a large tray covered in flat bread, topped with salads, vegetables, pickles and succulent morsels of meat. Everyone will dine from the same tray with everyone using the flat bread to scoop up food. The only eating utensil available is a large spoon for soups and stews, a great experience to share with family or friends.
If you’re looking for a historic view we recommend a Pilgrimage to the Temple of Apollo, located on Turkey’s West Coast in Didyama. It is among the famous Oracles in the ancient world, equal in importance to the Oracular Temple at Delphi in Greece. The Didymaion, was reached in a sacred way from the harbour of Panormus but now days you can take the easier way and jump on a mini bus from Altinkins.
